After many years of seeing himself on screen as an actor, Scott Wright realised the importance of staying in some sort of shape. As he says “It’s never nice watching yourself with a few extra pounds on!” He has always been into fitness, but like most people, found it hard to avoid a bar of chocolate (make that 3!) or one too many drinks at the weekend. It is difficult to look up at a giant mountain and wonder how you are going to climb it. In 2008, Scott bought his own gym and moved into fitness full-time, helping the likes of TV star Kerry Katona and X Factor and Happy Mondays singer Rowetta, plus various friends from Coronation Street and Emmerdale to hit their targets. One of his own ambitions was to prove that in only a short space of time you could achieve something truly staggering with only sound knowledge and a bit of discipline.

Scott fulfilled his goal by stepping on stage with some of the world’s best bodybuilders in only 12 weeks. Over the years he has contributed expert advice to many national and international publications including OK, Closer and Now Magazine. As a member of the ‘Register of Exercise Professionals’ he is also an expert in diet and nutrition and has devised a workout for a national advertising campaign for Turtle Wax. He has also been seen on our screens as an Adviser and Trainer on ITV’s Feel Good Factor and Kerry Katona’s MTV show. He currently has his own show (The Big Workout) on Fitness TV.

The Scott Wright Boot Camp Training will consist of a mixture of Circuit Boot Camp style exercises and yoga, combined with low intensity, high mileage walks which will help fire up your metabolism. Scott and his fellow trainers all have vast experience, so all levels of fitness and ages are welcome, everyone will be looked after. No-one need worry about being pushed beyond their limits. No matter what your capabilities, they will find a way of helping you achieve your goals. A typical day will consist of warm-up training to start your fat burning, breakfast, then some circuit and interval training. We then have a break for lunch, followed by a daily walk/run. Healthy snacks and protein shakes will be provided. The more effort you put into your Boot Camp week, the better the results.

When it comes to nutrition, Scott doesn’t really believe in keeping anything out of your diet, so the menus have all been put together to get you into a routine of regular eating with correct nutrition, in a lower calorie, more nutritious environment, with high protein and low/zero carbs after 19.00. The food at the Scandinavian Boot Camp will give you the energy to train whilst helping you kick junk food.

Day 1

  • Arrival at Rovaniemi airport (Finland)
  • Transfer to Summer Boot Camp
  • Dinner at SBC Lodge Resto

Days 2-6

  • Breakfast, lunch, dinner
  • 3 training sessions per day (more if required)

  • Breakfast
  • Check out latest 11.00 and transfer to airport


Price per person from €1,300 (£1,168) based on 4 people sharing a Group room, or €2,000 (£1,797) per person based on 2 people sharing a Double/Twin room. Price includes accommodation, meals and training.
