Scandinavian Boot Camp offers a vast range of outdoor activities all year round. Please make sure you book yours in advance or at the main reception on site.
Professional mountain bikes are available for hire at an additional cost, if you wish to explore the village on your own. Please ask the main reception for prices.
Cross Country Skiing
For campers who visit SBC in the winter months, try out some cross-country skiing, in the beautiful surrounding forest in Kardis. A great way to train and get fit for the famous Swedish skiing-race Vasaloppet!
Fancy trying cross-country skiing, but don’t like the cold? Then roller skiing is perfect for you as it is exactly the opposite. You have two skis on wheels, two sticks and of course a helmet. A great way of getting some proper leg exercise (if you haven’t had enough of it already) and an exciting alternative to the colder version!
The season for fishing is short and intense; summer nights in Kardis are bright. During June and July, the sun never drops below the horizon. Scandinavian Boot Camp gives you the chance to have an evening fishing experience with your own personal guide for salmon, trout, grayling, char and pike.
From the Arctic Circle and up through deep forests, river valleys and mountain areas, we have places that we want to show you. Together with experienced and professional guides, the chances are good to see tracks left by some of our rarest wild animals, such as the brown bear, lynx and king eagle; with a bit of luck you might catch a glimpse of them.
Secrets of the wilderness
During half a day or longer, we will teach you how to survive in the deep forests of Swedish Lapland. We will talk about and show you how people survived up here before cars and television, and how you can still survive on what nature has to offer. Among other things, you will learn how to make a fire, which plants can be of use and how animals and people cope with the extreme climate.
